Such a large percentage of our clients also use Document Management and WPA is continually committed to enhancing the benefits we are able to offer our customers. In this light, we became a PCDOCS PARTNER/APPLICATION DEVELOPER and have engineered an optional release that provides the following capabilities:

Right-click "Fax A Document" from the Quick Retrieve or Search Results dialogs.

Update the Document History to indicate a Fax Event.

Automatically Query the DOCS database (or any other M/S, SyBase or Oracle SQL Database) for all Client/Matter information that should be made available for Fax Validation and Long Distance billing pas-through to the PBX or third-party cost tracking systems. The Query cycle is defaulted to twice daily but may be set for any specific preference. Consisting of a background NT Service it will automatically perform any valid SQL Query that is desired.

Automatically pass the Docuemnt(s) Client/Matter Number(s) to Fax Administrator. This then becomes the default number for Fax Charges but may be easily diverted to any other valid number when necessary. In the event of faxes that consist of multiple documents with multiple Client/Matter Numbers, all numbers are tracked for easy selection of whichever is appropriate as well as the ability to also divert to any other valid number.
